The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and fresh, and it had everything we needed for our stay. The modern and well-equipped kitchen was a great bonus. The owner, Sean, gave us a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. The surrounding area offered some lovely walking routes, which were conveniently listed in the visitor handbook. Additionally, the location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions as it was easily accessible. we highly recommend Courtyard Farm Cottages and can't wait to return.

We did encounter a slight dog smell in the living room area, but we understand that the cottages are dog friendly. Additionally, the size of the bed was a bit small for two people, and the mattress wasn't the most comfortable.

the beds were extremely comfortable, with heated covers and extra blankets for added coziness. the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and we were welcomed with complimentary scones and milk upon arrival.
